STOA Scan is made by STOA. It turns a business card photo into a contact, a LinkedIn link and a research note, and sends them to your CRM.

We delete every card photo within 24 hours of the scan. We keep the text we read from it.

Contacts, research notes and anything you type about a scan are stored for you alone. We never share them, never send them to STOA, and never use them for anything except your account. They go to your CRM only when you send them.

Every STOA Scan user is a STOA lead. We send STOA's CRM these facts about you, and only these:

• your name, email, company and profession
• your business profile: what you sell, your ideal client, buying triggers
• your plan, sign-up date, scans and research runs this period, and whether a CRM is connected
• events: you hit the plan limit, upgraded, or asked STOA to reach out

STOA never receives the people you scan, card photos, research about them, your CRM data or your notes.

STOA sends you tips and occasional updates. Every one has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect at once. Account emails, such as sign-in links and deletion notices, keep coming while you have an account.

Plus costs $8 a month, billed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

If you do not sign in or scan for 18 months, we delete your account. We email you twice before that. Billing records are kept as the law requires.

In Settings, Your data, you can export your contacts as a CSV file and your profile as a JSON file, and you can delete your account. Deleting removes your contacts, research, CRM connection and profile within 24 hours, cancels Plus, removes your profile from STOA's CRM, and we email you when it is done. Contacts you already sent to your CRM stay there.
